So I was looking up a review on Rotten Tomatoes recently, and I noticed a list of “The Top 100 Christmas Movies of All Time.” I figured that was worth a look. This list placed a movie called Tangerine at number four. Brace yourself for the description:
WOW.
According to the largest movie review website in the world, THIS is the fourth best Christmas movie OF ALL TIME. What exactly transgendered prostitution and revenge have to do with the birth of our Lord is unclear, but parents are certainly struggling to find family-friendly entertainment when this is what the film industry celebrates.
So… in the episode 51 of CHRISTIAN PARENT/CRAZY WORLD, I offer five wholesome, family-centered Christmas movies for your viewing pleasure this holiday season. I have a recommendation for the kids, the guys, the girls, the couples, and the whole family. Several of them have a strong Christian theme, and they are all off the beaten path making them truly “fresh.”
