We all know that the world is moving further and further away from biblical truth. What once seemed unshakable moral foundations are being challenged, redefined, and sometimes outright distorted. But as Christian parents, our calling isn’t just to raise well-behaved kids—we’re raising culture shapers, young men and women who will stand for truth in a world that increasingly rejects it.
We’re not just called to be right—we’re called to be light.
So how do we prepare our kids to stand firm in their faith when everything around them seems to challenge it?
How do we equip them to walk in wisdom and grace, speaking truth without compromising their witness?
Three years ago, I released an episode that struck a chord with so many parents—and honestly, it’s just as relevant today. That’s why I’m bringing it back as a “Best Of” episode on CHRISTIAN PARENT/CRAZY WORLD! In it, I share seven key strategies that will help you equip your kids to navigate today’s culture with confidence, wisdom, and—most importantly—Christlike love.
Because here’s the deal: The goal isn’t to raise kids who just know the truth. The goal is to raise kids who live the truth, love like Jesus, and bring His light into every space they step into.
So how do we do that?
✅ Define the Terms – Ever notice how words keep changing meanings? That’s not by accident. I share a powerful Supreme Court example that shows why precise, accurate language matters.
✅ Question Everything – No, not in a rebellious way (we’re not raising skeptics for the sake of skepticism), but in a way that fosters discernment. From history to politics to science, let’s help our kids think critically.
✅ Challenge Labels—Don’t Cancel People – Culture loves to divide people into categories. But Jesus engaged with those society rejected, and we should, too.
✅ Confront Lies with Truth – The truth will always outlast deception. But are we equipping our kids to recognize it when they see it?
✅ Boycott with Wisdom – Should Christians boycott? Maybe. But let’s do it strategically—not reactively. I break down how to make ethical choices without falling into the trap of cancel culture.
✅ Go to the Source – Don’t just take someone’s word for it (even mine!). I’ll share a real-life example of how media misrepresentation can skew our understanding—and why it’s crucial to dig deeper.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed trying to prepare your kids for a world that feels upside-down, this episode is for you. Remember… we’re not raising kids to survive culture—we’re raising them to shape it.
